eeek! suprise pressy from my hubby :) x

So my amazingly lovely hubby knows ive become a bit of a book worm recently, so he bought me a suprise early anniversary present that i was so chuffed with and i love everything about it.

today on my door mat i received a amazon kindle :)

instead of now trying to find my books in stores, having a strop if they sold out ect blah blah i can just go onto the kindle store ON MY KINDLE as it has wifi and download them for cheaper than the actual books in store! so happy with this little gadget its really amazing, i now need to find it a lovely protective case and light to clip on the top to be able to read in darker places like in bed at night. 

so a massive thank you to my amazing husband who i love dearly for this really special present.

its amazing and i love it so much. so thank you babe xxxx

have you guys got kindles, any good books yo would like to tell me about i need to start building my library.

WET WET WET Saturday!

hey guys,

well today what can i say more than its rained pretty much all day long!
i had to go and collect my eldest from her dads this morning which is not a trip i look forward to! i have to bus it and then get on a ferry then dace a walk to collect her and in the pouring rain its not the nicest trip! lol.

so i did it, we went armed with rain covers for lillys puschair, umbrellas and water proof coats with hoods! but i still managed to look like a drown rat with lion hair (my hair is curly and i straighten it, when it gets wet it goes POOF! like a lions mane).

but when we had got home finally we all dried off and had a lazy day in doors, in the warm with treats and sweets, some dinsey films for the kids and blankets on the sofa :) was a really nice day at home with my two girlies.

i cooked a nice roast dinner and the girls had choc sundaes for pudding and i had a lemon tart yum!

they then had bath time fun causing the bathroom floor im sure to have more water on it than actually in the bath and now they are tucked up in bed with warm milk and honey and watching a dvd.

so its quiet time for me now :) bit of tv cold koperburg and maybe some mr grey! yay xxx

well all this hype about the new trilogy of books that have arrived on our shelves!!! of course its the 50 Shades trilogy! well if no one has read them yet GET BUYING! they are addictive and i was hooked in minutes! im not going to go into them and what there about because i dont want to spoil it but please take my word for it THEY ARE AMAZING! if you have read them leave me a comment below on what you think id love to know, plus the films rights have just been bought so for you Mr Grey lovers out there the films are due to be made soon :) YAY x

now i have to go as me and Mr Grey have a date ;) x

Filming For The BBC News :)

so i was asked by a friend of mine if i would like to be on the local news this evening. i was like yeah will brighten up my friday :) so myself and my little pickle lilly are due to be on the BBC south today news at 6.30pm. this whole topic was on saving money on your electricity bill by turning appliances off by the plug a local company have created an invention called the ban button, which is a small button you attach over remote controls to stop you using them. insuring you get up and switch your electricals off at the mains. there for saving you money. really good idea and can save you up to £85 a year on your electricity bills which is quite a lot of money. so myself and lilly had a film crew with us this morning in our home to film a short piece to feature on this evening news. :) so here are some snaps from the shoot today which was great fun.

myself and lilly had great fun and it was a really good fun thing to do on a friday morning so thank you to the BBC for being amazing and also to d3 marketing who had arranged the whole shoot today. my little girls  mins of fame hopefully one day she will have loads more, she should do as shes beautiful, wish hubby was here to see it, but were sky plussing it so he wont miss it .

Hubbys On The Ocean

Hey guys, so hubby is away working again, he does a shift rotation of roughly 6 weeks on 6 weeks off. he works for a company called seabird exploration and they looks for oil out at sea around the world. so at the moment hes away hes been away a week and a bit. another 4 ish weeks to go. its hard at times cause i do miss him, but im also used to him being away as he has been on the navy for the past nearly ten years. infact this is probably easier as i know when hes coming and going, the navy he could of been away for months and you wouldnt know when to expect him or when he was going to leave. so i am thankful i know he schedule a bit more now. atleast we can plan family time a bit better. so 34 days to go and counting i look forward to him coming home and i also know the girls miss him lots too, that includes lyla (lol). i get to talk to him over email each day which is nice so were not totally separated, i think it would be harder if we couldnt talk. also i can send him pictures of lilly as she changes and grows up so much while hes away. it may not sound a long time but so much can change with a two year old in a six week period. anyway there a little about my hubby and what he does.

Thursday 28th June 2012 - Lazy Days

so today has been a nice lazy day for me and lilly, we got up and the weather was pretty rubbish pretty much has been the same for well all year now! so i decided to get on with some motherly house work chores ect! i dont need to bore you all. the it got to around lunch time and i did some beauty blogging while the little terror was having a nap, oh how i love nap times lol. nice coffee, feet up and laptop to hand bliss!!!

lilly then of course woke up and it was lunch time so scrabbled egg on toast it was for us both, healthy quite impressed! lilly three egg at me a few times and then tried to feed it to the fish! they were not impressed might i add. then it was fun time!!! or as i put it make as much mess just to annoy mummy time!!! do you find that?? im sure kids know exactly what they are doing and purposly make as much mess as there tiny hands can possibly handle! well anyway, we played lego, we did some drawing, we watched shrek, and then watched shrek, and then watched shrek again lol lol lol. can you see a pattern? lol x

the sun had finally come out by this point but i was preparing a bubble bath for me and lilly so we decided to stay in. well then it was BUBBLE bath time again this means make as much mess along the lines of indoor tidal wave in lillys mind! so we had mummy and daughter time in the bath which was fun. what wasnt fun was washing lilly hair lol. thats never fun!

so now its come to the evening and im sat writing this blog entry. lilly has had dinner CHECK, lyla has had dinner CHECK, ive had dinner CHECK and now its time to sit, be quiet chill out and watch tv. the only problem i have is a two year old who is singing in her bed showing no signs of tiring at 7.45pm at night. ummmm the joys of parent hood lol x
